Default Prorock 44 question

Does Drynatrac have lockout hubs for the PR 44 like they do for the 60? If not, could you use the Spyntec hubs with the PR 44? I have a JKU with the 30 up front and am going straight to the PR 44 when I start my build. I just would like to have manual hubs. Thanks

you should call dynatrac directly on this, bit I believe that you can accomplish that by doing a D44 with 60 outers.

It is a Custom build, not a normal option, and with the added price you are probably better off just going to a 60.

11. Is the ProRock 44 available with a Dana 60 wheel end?
Yes, the ProRock 44 is available with a Dana 60 wheel end. There are several advantages including larger axle shafts, u-joints, ball joints, and a true locking manual hub. These configurations are made to order and sold as a custom assembly. Please contact a Dynatrac sales representative for additional information.

Thanks for the replies. Yep it would probably be easier to go with a 60 than to do that. I just don't like to reading about these t- cases blowing up going down the interstate.

You could ceratinly add a Spyntec hub kit to the PR44 system but, as others have said, it's not your most cost effective move. You'd be better off building a PR 44 with 60 outers. This will increase your track width by 3" over stock but less than 2" over the Spyntec kit.

A PR44 with 60 outers is a great option. The JK 44 front R&P has proven to be strong enough to survive even in rigs with very large tires.

Dynatrac, if you use the dana 60 outers does that change the wheel bolt pattern to 5x5.5?

Thanks Ron

You have options on bolt pattern, but most choose 5 x 5.5. Your stock 5 x 5's won't work due to the increased size of the hub.

Most of the time.

5 on 5.5" is the smallest option. We also do 6 on 5.5" and 8 lug.

As usual, Northridge4x4 saves the day. They have a PR44 in stock with all of the parts I needed. I should have it sometime this week.

Dave rocks! I cannot recommend those guys enough.
