Default PS Evap skid install.

Tried to install my Poison Spyder evap skid plate today. I ran into a problem right at the get go. Removing the clips that hold the hoses on are a pain to remove and I didn't want to break them.
Anyone have any recommendations on an easy way to remove these clips?

I worked mine off slowly with a small screwdriver, moving side to side to prevent stress on the clips.

Small screwdriver worked but I ended up breaking the clips. Headed to AutoZone at bought some clips that worked p/n Dorman 800-015.
