PSC Economy Kit
I just spoke with PSC after seeing their economy kit. It replaces the tower top of the steering box and is supposed to work the same as tapping the box. The hoses get their oil pressure from the new top. This eliminates the need to send the steering box in to be modified. Anyone running this setup or have an opinion on it. I was getting ready to send my box into West Texas Offroad for their Redneck kit. The price is about the same, but no down time.
edit: When I went back to check for more info, the kit was no longer listed. I called them and was told they probably took it off until they can write the instructions. At $426 for the kit, and just remove the steering box, exchange the tower top and bolt the box back on. Then weld on the cylinder tabs, cut the hoses, install ends, hook everything up and fill with oil. No tapping of the body required. Only down time is what it takes to install it. Has anyone done this yet or is it too new??
