Default PSC pulley and pump problem

I installed the PSC hydro assist in my jk and love but I am having one small issue. The serpentine belt is slipping off the back of the pulley. I checked the pulley installation and it is almost flush and making contact with the bolt heads so I know that is not the issue. My question is whether there would be any problem slipping a washer between the engine and the pump mount so to space it a little further back?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Dan

They state to use washers if needed to space pump out with belt. I'm installing with my 6.1 Hemi and the told me that it needs to be spaced out with a washer.
