Default PSC Tramp Stamp Installation?

Just received mine in the mail today, no directions though. I know to remove everything off the rear tailgate, do I remove the vents also? It came with 7 nut serts along with 4 bigger ones, do I just line it up and drill away? Also removing the stock license plate holder, is it just the two small hex screws at the bottom? Also can I get away with buying a cheap nut-sert tool?

The back vent has to go. I drilled out holes in the tramp stamp so it would just bolt on to the previously existing holes in the tailgate. I used 4 pop rivets to put the license plate on there. I got a cheap pop rivet took from Home Depot for like $10 that did the job.

You drilled pilot holes for the pop rivets? I want to use all the pop rivets on mine.

No I drilled holes for the bolts that originally had held the spare tire carrier back there. I didn't want to use all pop rivets. But yeah, that cheap pop rivet tool I got did the job

I didnt even use the nutsert/rivet things. Small self tapping screws work just fine & are much easier to work with for this application.

Looks good, what's the top piece? Also would your plate fit on there with the stock bolts?

I did the same thing with drilling and reusing the stick carrier hardware. License plate fits fine.
