Pulled electrical connector on Front Locker - doh!
So I was pulling my front axle and disconnected everthying first - except the one thing I forgot, the two wire electrical connector that goes to the solenoid for the locker. Wire pulled right out of the connector, the harness stretched pretty good too, but I think the harness at least is still ok (fingers crossed).
The base of the plastic connector that mounts to the axle cracked in half at the single bolt mount and the connector itself is ready to rip off the mount.
Do dealers typically stock these connectors ? Is the whole connector - wire - solenoid one complete unit ? Will I have to pull the carrier to replace this , or is there another connector right inside the housing ?
I was in a hurry as it was starting to get dark so I haven't pulled the diff cover yet. I've got another vehicle for a while so I'm not stuck , but man I hate it when I do something stupid
any ideas ?
