Default Pulling right and left during acceleration and deceleration

So when I accelerate it pulls to the left but as soon as I let off the gas it pulls to the right. And what it feels like when doing this is like its floating on a surface and rotating counter-clockwise and the back clockwise.
Anyone ever have this same feeling?

Check the trackbars for loose bolts, oval bolt holes, and worn bushings. Also check any trackbar brackets that may have been installed.

Check tire pressures, if rear diff is locked.

Trackbar, mounts, etc are good. Tire pressure same on all 4. Locker indicator is not on (any other way to tell?)

One rear shock shot and doing nothing? Control arms? Steering box bolts loose? Seems like sumthin' under there is wandering back and forth when the engine torque changes.

Should be easy to tell if an axle is locked by making a tight turn on pavement.

Checked the rear shocks last weekend. Not sure what constitutes them being bad but I do know it was hard as fack to get them to compress and get them mounted back again.

Hadn't checked the rear track bar yet. The front is good though.

New control arms going on in a couple of weeks (replacing skyjacker fixed length with adj. currie all 8 arms) and will be checking all holes and fixing anything loose there. I've already shimmed, put new hardware, greased, and torqued to spec all the bolts on the CAs. The shims and hardware helped to eliminate my wobble/shimmy (at speeds between 25 and 40) that I had after last trip.

Never considered steering box - will check that out too.

But yeah, does seem like it's just one corner.

It sounds like your trackbar and draglink aren't parallel. When you accelerate you lift the front end and the track bar shifts the axle to the side as if you are on a taller lift. If the draglink isn't on the same plane it doesn't match the movement and throws off the steering center. Opposite when you decelerate.

Sounds logical. And I do run a short arm lift so it would tend to lift and settle during ac(de)celeration. But I think they are parallel. Here are a few pics. But I guess maybe you mean when looking at them from the front they should be at same height i.e. same plane At the frame side they start on the same plane but on the axle side the draglink does attach at a lower plane than the track bar.

I need to take a better picture obviously.

Also, I did some research on what you were saying. And it doesn't have as much to do with how the bars look parallel but rather whether the center of the joints are parallel when measuring them both. Also, it seems important that the length of the track bar and the drag link are as close to matching as possible so that both of the move in the same arc when the suspension is cycling.

And fwiw, I do also have bumpsteer. So it's obvious that they are not exactly parallel and don't move on same axis when suspension cycles.

While you're doing the control arms you may see something we've missed while bench racing. For sure that will be the time to dismount/remount the rear track bar and check everything out. Good luck!!

Definitely. I will be taking a close look on both track bars and all bracket/mount holes - good time to do it for sure. Thanks!
