pulling the trigger on mods...thoughts?
hey there, looking for some feedback from the jk'rs. i purchased a black 08 rubi unlimited 4 months ago, and i'm ready to take the next steps. here is what i have in the works: 3.5 re short arm, bilstein shocks, air raid intake, 35"km2's, aev front bumper, aev argent pintler beadlocks, ipf xs900 driving lights, daystar hood latches, hypertech programmer, metalcrafters grill inserts. already put on the entry guards, billet gas cap cover, tail light guards, head light guards, jk slush mats. the rubi is fully loaded-even has the block heater. if anyone has pics that is close to this set up, please post! most interested in a black rubi w/aev beadlock pintlers and aev front bumper. still deciding on rear bumper and winch, and heated seats.
thoughts?

First welcome to to Forum, as for the lift and tires set up I would recommend new gears and drive shafts. I purchased a Kick Butt Clayton 3.5" Lift from North Ridge as for me I will be running 33's for now till I get tired of them then I'll bump them up to 35's. I also got the front and rear drive shafts, RE Remote res shocks. So for anything else for your set up the gears and drive shafts mos def.

I recommend the Hutchinson Beadlocks real military stuff...they are the only true beadlocks out there as they lock both the inner and outer beads so you can actually air down to zero with out them comming off (not that you would want to) I air down to 8-10 psi and they stick like glue.
I can also recommend the Fab Four rear bumper tire carrier cause its rock solid and doesn't rattle at all, plus the clearance is incredible. Pricey but worth every penny!
If I were to do it all over again, I'd do the stubby front bumper with the Warn Power plant winch that has the built in air compressor and the Clayton long arm lift. I am happy with everything else
oh yea, don't mess with the air box or the exhaust. Keep them stock! Once you change them out you will regret it cause they make the jeep loud as hell and it is still a dog!
