pure jeep looks nice, but I have the LOD and if i were to have either one given to me free I would take the LOD because of how stout it is. It bolts through the frame and cross member with 12 bolts and really strengthens the rear end. I know they do not advertise this, but i can feel the difference when I drive. The extras are awsome I use the rear lights when camping to set up camp and the basket up top for light stuff and one jerry mount for fuel one for water. This thing is no joke. No rattles and i got mine used over a year old. It has a greasable zirk so no worries on keeping it lubricated. I have driven with over a hundred pounds on the gate and it is still easy to open. I also do not think any other latch is even remotely as good, it locks tight. any other questions just ask. The new ones have even more upgrades than mine.

LōD gets my vote, but I might be a little biased.

IMO, LoD is on everybody and their sisters jeep. PureJeep would be my choice between the two.

I have the Smittybilt XRC and have not had a single issue with it. It's heavy duty, powder coat has held up well, latching mechanism closes TIGHT, everything has been hassle free. Not to mention, it was $650, including shipping. Which is nice, because that extra $500-$600 can buy a lot of other stuff. In my case, PureJeep rockers.

Just installed the LOD rear and have been very happy with it. Read the write up because there are no instructions. Lead time was about 3 weeks. The gate is tight with no rattles. I wish that they had offered the full width front before I installed the ARB.

There are several posts that talk about pretty lengthly lead times for the LOD. I've seen posts from ~6 weeks up to around 3 months.

No clue about PureJeep. Anyone know the typical leads times for PureJeep?

The longer lead times for LOD seem to have been shortened down to 3-4 weeks now. Instead of the 6 weeks + that were discussed in older threads around the forum.

I have plenty of PureJeep Rear tire Carrier bumpers in stock. Give me a call for the best price!

It took me some time to decide on a bumper. I bought the LoD (from Dave at Northridge) over the Purejeep. I do a lot of camping and the added lights will be very nice at night. The lights plus the option of the other accessories that I can buy down the road is why the LoD won.

I appreciate that Bustabizz gave me a good price on the Purejeep.

Thanks for posts
