Default Quadratec - Need help with BD Shocks !!

I need help from anyone with experience or Quadratec sponsor. BOUGHT FROM QUADRATEC.

I bought the Black Diamond AT Shocks for 2" lift. There are no instructions in any of the boxes. The rear shocks are a no brainer as the top mounting posts are installed and the bottom only requires the bushing/metal sleeve to be installed. The front shocks have me stumped. I know the bushing/metal sleeve goes in the bottom, but I have about a dozen pieces for the top "Stem" portion, and have no idea which parts to use, and what order they go on.

I have:
(2) large concave washers (like a soup bowl)
(2) smaller washers with a center indentation
(2) poly bushings
(3) nuts

I tried talking with a gentleman at Black Diamond/Superlift who apparently knew less then I did, so no help there really.

Also, dont know how I'm supposed to tighten the nut on top as the whole piston rotates with nowhere to hold it to keep it still.

** PLEASE HELP !! **

Really not happy with a lack of instructions and a lack of product knowledge from Black Diamond Tech Support.

Would the instructions for the 3" help?

i will try and explain this best i can without having pictures.

with you shock standing straight up you should install the parts in this order.
1 metal washer with concave pointing up.
next a poly bushing with the side with a raised portion pointed up.
then instal shock
next a ploy bushing on top with raised portion aiming down.
then another metal washer with the caoncave pinted downward.
next a nut
then a another nut(as a jam nut if provided)

hope this helps. hopefully you can understand what i am describing since you have the parts in front of you.

I will go and assemble as you have. Since I have two sets of washers. I'll put the ones on that are roughly the size of the poly, and see how it looks compared to yours.

I really, truely appreciate your help and for taking the time to take and post the pics. As always, a jeeper goes above and beyond...

Thanks,
Mike

Watch the torque on the top bolts, dont tighten them down enough to make those bushings flatten out like a roadkill cat, they are supposed to maintain their shape.

and as for; "Also, dont know how I'm supposed to tighten the nut on top as the whole piston rotates with nowhere to hold it to keep it still."

I suspect the very top of the shock has 4 flat sides so you can get a wrench on it to keep it from spinning.
