Default Quadratec winches

Anybody here own a Quadratec winch? Looking to buy a winch and on paper the Quadratec seems to be a good option but I'm a little skeptical on buying it. Can anybody give me an opinion on the winch?

I recently installed the Q9500i and have only used it once so far. Pulled an 89 Toyota extended cab out of the sand on the beach, he was buried to his axles. The winch performed wonderfully. I have no complaints so far.

I have a Q11000 on my JK with cable. I've moved a nice sized boulder through a wet garden and a Dodge 1500 with it. It's a great winch for the price.

I have a Q11000 with cable. No complaints, but the only time I've used it recently was to move a tree that had fallen across the trail. I'm almost always with a group and a recovery strap is quicker and easier so I don't get to use the winch much.

Great feedback guys, much appreciated. I'm leaning towards the synthetic line though can anyone provide feedback on that?

I Bought the Q11500is (integrated synthetic)

So Far i haven't had to use it for anything big. It seems to be built really well. Definitely impressed with it.

Ill keep you posted if I have to use it on anything big.

You guys with the 11,000 lbs winches... Do you all have an Unlimited? I have a 2010 JKU and wasn't sure if a 9,500 would be enough or if I should go with something bigger.

I have the 9500 with cable on a JKU and I have had to use mine 4 times. I have only wheeled by myself and I haven't noticed the winch struggling with anything I have thrown at it. A couple of those times it was a pretty long pull and it never got hot. I'm not scared to try things that I might not make it through because the winch seems strong enough and built well enough to perform when it's needed.
