Default question about 35's

I ordered my '08' two door X a few months ago. I also just ordered a Procomp stage2, 4" suspension lift. I was wondering what mods if any would I need to run 35's. Or should I just go with 33's. Thanks in advance.

take a saw to the front bumper and the stupid pinch weld at the front of the rear wheel well. Spaypaint any exposed metal and go driving.

everything else is optional

i have a 2.5 coil spacer and run 35" tires. Under extreme flex i get some pops. I cant tell if its the tires on the bumpers, fenders or a combo of the front ones on the bumper and the rear hitting the pinch weld or fenders or what... so with 4" u will be just fine!

Im not ready to cut the front bumper yet, not sure im actually hitting it, but this week i am cutting the corner of the pinch weld off in the rear

With a 4" lift you shouldn't worry about 35" tires, people here are running 37's and 38's with a 4" lift. I have a 2.5" teraflex BB with 35's and under extreme flex and disconnected my tires do rub the front bumper a little. A stubby would take care of that. The pinch weld is an issue and WILL cut your tires under flex but instead of cutting the pinch weld I just rolled it under.

I appreciate the advice. I may end up getting that stubby bumper from Pure Jeep.
