From what I heard and read, don't expect any significant improvement. The stock headers are supposedly pretty well designed and can´t be improved upon that much.

I've had them on for a year, but hard to say what they did alone. I installed the catback exhaust and CAI at the same time. I do like the sound.

I bought and installed both the headers and the cat back system last month, hardly notice any power increase if it got any, like the sound. Good quality, nice install, nothing bad about the system, I just don't think any of the exhaust systems do much that the driver can feel anyway.

The days of making such changes to engines seem to be over. I had a good time modifying the straight 6 in my '88 XJ: cam, headers, exhaust, ignition, etc. I could have kept going with crank, pistons, head, but was satisfied with the results. I was able to improve torque, hp, mpg, and sound. Lots of fun.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we can do this as easily with the JK because the computer is so much a part of the big picture.

i guess tuning plays a big part, in todays jeeps but i also installed cat back and cai, i felt the difference, and i bet a cam would make a big difference in the jk's performance, the problem is noone make the block internals, EX: cams, rollers, maybe even a complete stoker kit, that would defenetly be something i would invest in. cmon someone make the stroker kit already
