Default Question about Diablo Programmer and RIPP SC and Dealership Flash

Do I need to unprogram my Jeep before I take it to the dealership if I know they are going to Flash the computer? Or do I just reprogram after they have flashed the computer? I have the RIPP SC and use the Diablo tuner.
Thanks

When I was having some issues with my RIPP at high altitude, I asked Ross if I could flash it back to stock to get back to lower ground. He said I could, but I must put the OEM MAP sensor back on or else the engine would have problems. Well, I of course didn't have the OEM sensor, so I didn't do it...

So, I guess what I'm assuming is that yes, you should flash to stock before taking to the stealership but you should also put the stock MAP sensor back in. I think the Diablo programmer works the same as the rest of 'em in that if the dealer flashes over your tune, the programmer won't like it and you won't be able to flash the RIPP tune onto it.

The other interesting bit is that when you installed the SC, you sent your stock tune to RIPP and they sent one back. Wonder if that process needs to be repeated with a newer dealer tune?

Maybe RIPP will chime in and give us clarity.

I know a guy who was going to trailer his RIPP JK to the dealer to allow them to flash it. Don't think he ever intended to let the dealership start, much less drive it, without the Diablo tune being re-installed.

Good questions though. X3 wrt hearing an answer.
