Default Question about drag link flip kits

I have an '07 2dr with a little over 3" of lift and get slight to moderate bump steer depending on whatever it is I decide to run over. My question is since I have an adjustable trackbar and the kit requires a bracket to raise the mounting point on the axle, will I need a new trackbar or will the adjustable one work??

Thanks for any help!!

The distance shortens when you raise the TB. So either stock or a adjustable will work. Just make sure the adjustable track bar will adjust the same or shorter than stock.

Depends on the kit. Some trackbars don't work as well as others due to the way they bend. (the Synergy flip makes note of this, just a heads up to research it more).

Have you verified your current trackbar/draglink angle is off, and is causing the bumpsteer? Lifting should keep them parallel, just at steeper angles. (measured from mounting point to mounting point. A frontal picture may help, rather than just eyeballing the bent bars). If they are off enough to cause significant bumpsteer, is it possible you have a drop drag link installed? (I was at 4" for several years with no flip and no bumpsteer, angle was steep, but bars were parallel.)

If they are parallel, could the tires be the cause?

To be honest I'm not exactly sure what it's suppose to look like as far as the trackbar and drag link being in alignment. I will upload a front picture as soon as there is light outside.

Make sure you can see the bolts at both ends of both bars. Then open the picture in Paint or some other editing program, and draw straight lines between the holes at the axle and the holes up near the frame.

This pic is from the alignment and deathwobble writeups. The yellow lines I added may be off a bit, but they give you an idea of what I was referring to. It takes the bends out the equation so you can easily see how parallel they are.
