Default Question about OR-FAB Carriers

I've got a 4 gallon rotopax container mounted onto the tailgate which measure 5" from tailgate to the end of the container. I'm wondering if anyone has the OR-FAB carrier that doesn't have jerry can or rotopax mounts built on and what the distance is from tailgate to the carrier. Hoping my rotopax will fit so that I don't have to relocate it or get the carrier that comes with the 3 gallon containers. I'm also wondering what the distance is from tailgate to carrier on the jerry can model. I could always stack another 4 gallon container if the space was large enough. Any help is greatly appreciated.

OR Fab has 3 different carriers. One is a no can version and there is absolutely no room for any Rotopack. Then there is their Rotopack carrier which fits a 3 gallon Rotopack perfectly without room for a wider Rotopack. Then there is the Jerry Can carrier. Again this fits a standard 5 gallon Jerry Can. Sorry no measurements right now, but you can figure out from the can specs what is the spacing.

im going to add a above tire rack custom and you can make your own hanging down or theres a hoop that goes up behind tire it has threaded holes if you wanted to have a jack. u could mount to those Click image for larger version

ID:	549491 I used two of the holes to strap the oem light higher due to tire height . thers more room than 3 inches the higher you go / I measured 3/12 to door / so that's a no go , but if you mount one behind tire up where I have that light youl have 4 .5 to 5 inches before you touch the soft top window

I have the 5 gallon can version on my rig, and took off the gerry cans and mounted the rotopax on the tailgate with the knuckles off road mount, and two wide, two deep they fit within the carrier. I prefer it because it puts the weight of the rotopax on the tailgate and the carrier just supports the weight of the tire.

I don't have any pictures of it right now since I was hit from behind almost two months ago and its still in the shop waiting on the rear axle...but it will be worth the wait since insurance sprang for a Dynatrac Trail 60 as a replacement.
