Question About Lift for 35s
The joy of the internet, everyone's giv ing you different advice. I've been there (I have TF 2.5" coil lift), and you do need the 2.5" BB or 2.5" coil lift with 35s. I suggest you don't believe the threads saying 35s no lift - any offroading or heavy cargo, or passengers and you WILL rub the rear 35s on the frame (chopped fenders does no good). Good luck.
I'm thinking getting the tereflex 2.5 budget boost from all the responses. I have 19/60 springs so I think it should be a nice setup. Guess I will just sell the leveling kit hopefully at not too much loss.
I have a buddy running a 2.5" lift with 35s and he has a shit ton of rubbing when we wheel. Im getting 35s mounted in 2 weeks. I have a 2.5" lift now and will add 1" spacers before wheeling season starts in the summer.
From my experience, 2.5" lift with stock fenders and 35s, your still going to rub when flexing. Its not enough to rip off the fender but 3" or higher will take care of that.
I ran Rubicon springs and 1" spacers on my old JK with no issues at all. But it was a 2 door. I think I netted at least 2.5-3"s of lift.
