Outside of leaving 4th gear distant and lonely, no problems at all.

So is the consensus to drive with OD off all the time? Around town? My commute to work is 30 min. Let me know. Don't want to keep driving with it on if I should have it off. Thanks

I ran mine with od off for about a year before I got gears. Was running 4.10's with 35's. Only damage I incurred was the writing on the od button got worn off.

Default I always turned mine off.

I ALWAYS turned off my OD as soon as I got on a hwy. I finally re-geared to 5:13s and now I don't have to turn it off anymore. You can certainly drive your 35s with 3:73 gears, OD off and get by but if you ever get the extra coin you WILL be glad if you re-gear to a 4:88 or 5:13.

I drive with mine off everyday. 5 Mile commute to work. The first button I toggle when I start the vehicle is the OD/OFF and then the ESP.

When I drive on the freeway, I always have it off, puts me at 3K RPMS with an Auto, 35's, and a 3" EMU Lift.

No problems here.

I also immediately turn mine off...it's become complete habit. The only time I turn it on is when on the highway and a long down hill stretch. I even drop down to 2nd quite a bit when driving in the city with a bunch of hills. I can't wait to re-gear, but it will be a while before the wife allows that kind of coin out of our bank account

My JK only has the stock 32's and 3.73 w/auto and I modded mine so OD is off when I startup. The only time I turn it on is if I know I'm going to be on strait highway with little speed changes (traffic). And this is not often in my case. Here are some thoughts:

If I could experiment and put it all back to stock if I didn't like it or think it was not worth the $, I would regear even in my stock configuration. Any increase in tire size, I know I would plan on a regear.
