Default Question about transfer case swap?

Hey there, got a question for everyone. I'm considering swapping in a Rubicon transfer case to get the low geared low range. I was wondering what year transfer cases are compatible or are all 2007-2013 interchangable?

I have an '08 JK with 37s and 4.88 gearing. I like the gearing for road drivability but thought the lower geared low range of the rubicon transfer case would be nice. I've thought about an atlas but in reality my needs and use can't justify the cost when a rubicon transfer case is a direct bolt in/swap.

Thanks

I believe all the yes you've mentioned are able to swap. Just make sure you get one that came out of auto or manual which ever applies to your needs.

I would think the '07 through '11 would be the same. Not sure if any changes were made with the '12's, with the new motor and tranny

I've heard the manual/automatic think doesn't matter, as the parts that make the difference can stay with the vehicle.

True?
