Default Question about trektop nx

I understand there's no true hardware, and it fits over the roll bars. So when I decide to fold it all the way down, does it fold down like the factory soft top or does the entire top have to be removed?

Default TrekTop NX

The NX does not fold down. It comes in four major pieces, the Top (which can flip back), left and right sides and the back window. If you take the sides off you will have a long bikini top that can flip back over the driver. There are some hardware piece that do have to mount to the roll bar but this is minor.

I was also under the impression that once it is safari mode that all you do is detach the clips connected to the headliner and roll the top back to the tail gate area. Is this not true?
