Question about using Factory soft top rear bar with the Original Trektop....

Question about using Factory soft top rear bar with the Original Trektop....
I swapped out the Trektop tailgate bar....with the factory tailgate bar.....now there is about a inch or two open space between the top of the tailgate and the top.
Did I do something wrong, or is that how it is?
