Default Question on Artec Spring Perch Installation

For anyone who has installed these;

Did you weld a nut on the bottom of the tube cap for the spring retainer to bolt into? I can't see how you would be able to reach this nut to install the retainers after the perch is installed?

I was guessing the bolt would come up from underneath? If you can't fit the nut in, you won't have room for a bolt to go through the nut.
