getting ready to bring the Jeep in for Line-x and am in the process of stripping the interior myself to save a few bucks. Everything is going fairly well ( back seat bolts are a knuckle buster without an impact gun ) . I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the damn latch/clip that holds down the rear cargo lid......i can feel under with the jack removed but can't seem to release anything.....WTF!!
i am ready to just bust it off then order a new one once the bed is sprayed.

Anyone have any tips??????

 

The cubby lid??? There is a little latch on top of the lid to the left , pull up, twist, lid raises. Then you can just pull the cover out.

Edit: nevermind, i get what you mean now, just tape it off.

 

Agreed, just mask it off.
