Default Question for Mopar or AEV Bumper Owners

I'm thinking of buying the Mopar Off-Road Winch Bumper for a 2011 Rubicon and wanted recommendations on what winch you recommend? There are lots of different brands on the market.

I also have considered the AEV Premium Bumper too...however they are a bit pricey, but still being considered. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
hdtrader

I am using a Warn 9.5ti on my Mopar offroad bumper. They are pricey, but I believe it is a very nice winch. Mine has been exposed to the elements for going on 4 years, still looks good, and works. There are a couple people in this thread;

who say they are running Smitybilt XRC-8 and 10 on the Mopar bumper. The 8 at least costs a lot less than a Warn 9.5ti.

Default AEV Premium Bumper

I've been running the AEV Premium bumper with the Warn 9.5ti for about a year now. The finish on the bumper is as good as the day I installed it. The AEV bumper also places the winch low enough that it doesn't block air flow to the radiator. I'm very happy with it so far.

Default If you can afford it go with the warn

I have a 10k Smitty built winch but the control handle rusted in less that 2 years. I have had warn winches in the past and never had the problem. but the Smitty built was only 399 and the warns more than 1000. now i wish i had the money for the warn I also really like the idea of the power force winches that have the air compressors but I haven't tried one. The I have a warn bumper for the winch and am starting to have issues with the powder coat flaking off. as for winches have you considered the 8274? and for bumper the idea behind the olympic smuggler bumper is appealing . good luck. Hey do you notice much power increase in the 2011 motor?

AEV and Warn 9.5ti, do it right the first time, both should last for many years to come.

I have the Smitty XRC-10 comp with sythetic rope on my Mopar bumper. It fits awsome and sits down nice and low and does not block the grill at all. It also is virtually impossible to steal in a short amount of time as the bolts and nuts are hidden and actually tough to remove.

Default Winch bumper

Thanks guys for all the info...Once I seen Windrocker's Black Rubicon pictures...I bit the bullet and ordered the AEV Premium Bumper. Now, I'm looking for the best buy on the Warn 9.5ti winch.

Still not sure on what type and name brand regarding driving lights...any recommendations?

Thanks everybody and also a big thanks to Windrocker...you have a nice Rubicon.
