Default question on noise when at idle speed...

I have a 2" superlift w/4d springs. Anyone else ever noticed a roaring sound when the jeep starts to move on it's own without you pressing the gas pedal? By that...I mean when you crank up, put in drive and let off the brake the jeep moves....well when it starts to move at idle speed, I hear a roaring type sound/vibration and when stopping and cmoing to a stop, I hear it at the same speed...? Any ideas. No real vibration when driving...

I get a rumble at low speeds due to the MTs... that is normal. If you are hearing a sound, track it down. If the sound is coming from your tranny... that's not good.

I am having a similar problem but only in 4wd. I took it to the dealership they an went through the tranny , t-case and rear axle. I just put in a new rubi 44 with less than 50 miles on it, so I new that it was not the problem! I can not figure out where its coming from... Any suggestions??
