Default Question, now that the new springs and shocks are on ...

I have a 2 in lift kit on now and I did the back 2 weeks before doing the front. Question is, the front is a bit higer than the back and I wanted to know if this would settle over time. I want it to be more even or lower on the front. Its a rancho 2 in lift kit.

Also, it rides so much better than with the rubicon shocks and when riding fast on bumpy freeways, but going on a rocky dirt road yesterday I noticed that the new springs were creeking all over like there was a bomb set off in a metal factory. Is this normal and will the creeky noises go away after time?

I would suspect that it will settle.

As for the squeaks, It may be the spring against a lift puck. Could try a little lubricant to see if it helps then go from there. If you added anything else that has new bushings or anything poly you would want to lube them with something like white lithium grease.

as far as the puck yes you are correct on that.

Do I need to lube the shocks at the bushings?

I wouldn't think so...but if it helps diagnose the squeak it may not hurt.

So I assume this is a coil lift - not a spacer lift correct? Did it come with new control arms? If not, did you loosen the stock ones and retighten after the jeep was back on the ground?

For me - it's usually been a joint or swaybar bushing that causes noise

you could always put 1 inch bumps in the rear to get it higher then the front as well.

Did you keep the stock spring isolators on top of the springs?

fronts are new large springs, backs are the pucks. I did not loosen or tighten the stock control arms when I put them on. I dont have a socket that big.
