Default Question regarding shocks????

I'm curious but never heard anyone doing it but if I have a 4inch lift and want to change shocks out do I have to buy same name brand shocks? Or would any shocks work for it?

luckily enough for you, any shock that will work with the amount of your lift is yours to choose from.

happy hunting! I am sure there are a lot of suggestions. I have the superlift shocks but am leaning towards something a little better in the near future as well

X2 sa29560.....I just switched up my shocks for the sweet ELKA's from Tera Flex....the brown van dropped them off literally 5 mins ago.....they are sick...might install them today, if not then tomorrow forsure...

As long as the shocks are equal to your 4inch lift, then you're good to go

Thanks rubisteve. Let me know how they are after out them on. I always been told most shocks will give an squeak noise and mine do a little all my friends have little squeaks to just over bumps of course. Are there any out there that don't squeak?

The supplied Tera Flex ones with my lift didn't squeek at all...they were fine.....I'll post up pics after my Elka's are on....I'm sure they won't squeek either.

Bwaaahaaha! I got mine in from ups the day before a meet and greet, they were still in the box in my jk, I pulled one out and had to wipe drool off them not only me but some of the other guys. They are worth every penny.
