Default Question: on road ride

I have a 2015 Willy, so I believe I have the rubi suspension. Is there any way to make my road ride more smooth?

If you're still stock height there's not a whole lot you can do that I know of, except maybe try a different shock possibly. What specifically don't you like about it?

Yes, u have the heavy duty suspension which includes firmer coil springs and rubicon shocks. U could technically do the opposite of what everyone else does and swap in a lower number coil spring and base model shocks.

I personally liked how my Willys drove stock. My wife has a stock Willys and the ride is nice as well.

Maybe just let some air out of the tires.

As mentioned by others, Air pressure is a good place to start because it's FREE to do.

If you are lucky, that might make the feel tolerable without spending any money. :-)

Didn't even think of that with the rubi tires lol. Good call on air pressure.

The Willys should have a little stiffer ride than your previous Sport JK.

The Sport suspension and tires are soft and designed for the street.

The Rubicon suspension and tires (both of which you have) are heavy duty trail ready stuff. Stiffer sidewall tires and stiffer gas shocks are contributing to your "rough ride".

Like others said, try running a little less air pressure in your tires. I run 30 psi and it helps. At 35 psi, it feels a lot rougher.

there's always one. LOL!!!! I get nut checked every time I recommend a Prius. But it's usually for gas mileage.

And to the OP. Once you air down a bit, your jog will dip slightly. Just an FYI. It's a utilitarian vehicle. There's compromise.
