Question: Are slightly bowed springs going to cause problems down the road?

Let me get that paper. The springs are not my stock springs...but they are stock Rubicon springs and shocks. They are one step up from my old ones. So I started with 17/58s and upgraded to 18/59s.

3.4 deg on front left / 3.5 deg on front right

He told me he was unable to adjust caster or camber due to me not having adjustable equipment.

Something, somewhere, there is another problem.

Stock Rubicon springs and shocks?
Plus you added 2" spacers in front?
Are the shocks bottomed out, putting tension on the springs?
I'm just guessing here....
What about your track bar now that you've lifted this much?
Is the axle straight under the front end?
Yes, both shocks and springs. The shocks, as you likely know, are a tad longer than my stock shocks, but the springs were same length. It is possible. I really have no indications that I am bottoming out my shocks, but, with the stiffer springs, slightly longer shocks and (2) 1" spacers, I am starting to think that I am going to remove a 1" spacer and see how that deals. As for the trackbar, I have not noticed an offset. Maybe slight, but negligible in my opinion. I don't look and say, wow, that is way off (as dumb and newbish as that sounds ). I will measure it today and let you know.

Passengers side.

I can't see it but the guy that aligned my vehicle told me that there is a slight bow in the passenger side bowing towards the rear.
I can tell by one of the pics that the coil is not positioned correctly (centered) on spacer.. The angle it's at is most likely causing the coil to bow...

Can you tell me what picture it is that you can tell is not centered. I am guessing it is the passenger side one since it looks off base...maybe its the driver side.

Tomorrow I am going to pull a spacer off giving the front only 1". I'll let you all know how it goes.

The passenger side looks off centered.. Did you put the factory isolaters back on.. When you did this, did you do one side at a time? I'd try slowly dropping the axle while watching the coil straighten out as well... Unless the coil is bowed (uninstalled), it should NOT look like that.. I ran a 2.5" BB for a while on stock 18/59's and dropped axles many times while running BB... The only time I had this problem was in the rear on my buddies.. Even with axle shifting do to BB, it will only be about a 1/4". Did you or installer loosen anything while installing? It's not essential to loosen trac bar or control arms, just removal of sway bar links.. I'd be curious to know if the stuff got put back on while in the air (jack stands) or on the ground?

Strangely enough, that is the only one that looks fairly straight...but the somewhat centered looking spring is the one bowing. The mechanic that did my alignment did say that both are bowed and that the springs were straight. He was lucky and had a lift and all. He even loosened the control arms and shook it around for me at no extra charge which I thought was a nice thing.

I pulled the spring out last weekend and it was straight as far as I could see, so obviously there is something else wrong. I installed this practically on my own. I put the vehicle up on jackstands, pulled the tires and dropped the axles, front and back. and installed everything. The second time I just lifted one side onto a jackstand, removed the driverside tire and sway bar links on both side, removed the bottom shock mount I was working on and was able to drop the axle further than the initial installation, which allowed me to reseat the spring. That is how I plan to pull the spacers off tomorrow. One a time, using the tire on one end to flex the other side down.

So, after pulling a spacer off, giving myself only 1" in the front, the bow is very slight, almost unnoticeable. I let my friend look at it and he thinks my Jeep my have defective upper spring buckets...they aren't installed in the right place my friend thinks. The bumpstops on the top seem that they will never hit center on the area below it.

SO....that being said, and after evaluating the situation, what is the likelihood of Jeep doing something about this issue? I really wish I had actually looked, paid attention and taken snapshots of the original setup. I have never dealt with corporate Jeep, only the dealer. Any suggestions with dealing with Jeep?

Obviously the option is to suck it up and buy adjust control arms to compensate. Any help?
