Question for those with the Bushwacker Flat Flares
Just wondering....do you need to keep (cut, or modify) the stock inner fender plastic skirt?
I'm thinking of getting these but alread cut my factory fenders and am wondering if I will need to re-order the inner skirt?
Any help is apprecieated.

I just installed mine 2 days ago. The flats require that you cut them "flat to the body panels of the jeep". It real easy to tell if you have room left.

HAHA, I'm going to get that question alot now with the Flat Fenders. Trust me, before you could tell right away they were 35s.
At first, I had some really mixed thoughts on the lift. It's a ProComp 4" which is really about 3.25. But with control arms, its now good to go. With the bumpers and winch, it's now the perfect height for me. Best of all, I NOW HAVE ROOM PLENTY OF ROOM FOR 37s!

I've installed quite a few Buskwacker flares after they got mangled in an accident and I was never very happy with the way they fit or looked for that matter. Personally, I'm gonna go with one of the metal flat fender kits when the time comes but I would prefer the Xenon if I had to go with plastic for two reasons.
First off the narrow Xenons look better. Secondly I've read both installation PDF's and I like Xenons method of attachment better. While Bushwacker uses these funky support brackets that attach to the body first with bolts and clips the Xenons have the support built into them. It looks like the Xenons use bolts, screws, J-Nuts and clips in the front as well, very similar to Bushwacker. However, they are different in the rear where they use Nutserts with bolts instead of clips. I gotta say the Bushwackers would be a PITA to install over the Xenons what with the seals that have the double sided tape... nightmare and the seals will end up looking like crap in a few years.

I just put my bushwackers on friday and they are GREAT, took about 3 hours (sorry no pics yet). I was going to return them and get xenons because I was worried about the width, but after installing them they are just as wide as the oem fenders.
