Got them from a guy I know that had them put on for steps for his wife. (He doesn't wrench, knows nothing about the install) He never took it off road (not a scratch on them) and sold the Jeep. These were not going to snug up in the center. It would strip the threads before you could pull that brace in 1/4". If I'd have paid full price/new they'd be going back, no doubt. Happy Turkey day all.
