Default question on tires

I am looking to buy tires and considering these 3 size 37-12.50-17
1-nitro trail grappler
2 Goodyear wrangler mt/r Kevlar
3-toyo open country mt
Would like to get tire weight along with mileage durability and pros and Cons. They will be going on my daily driver but I'm only driving 30 miles round trip.

Nitto & Toyo are essentially the same tire, and the Goodyear is gonna be hard to get from what I heard. They are all on backorder everywhere...

Toyo & Nitto's are probably the heaviest tire for whatever size you look at. Mine are 37x13.50x17 and they are around 93lbs a tire. Again, I don't think there are any other tires that weight more than those...

of the 3 choices you have listed, the only one i WOULD NOT get is the goodyear mtr's. they are hard to balance, unpredictable on the trail, have weak sidewalls and, i believe its tread design being close to a directional pattern, provided poor on road characteristics - for me anyway. the nittos and toyos are essentially the same tire and, being an range e tire, are both quite heavy. the toyo's typically come in a wider tread and therefore are heavier. both will give you about 45,000 miles, have near bullet proof sidewalls and perform well both on and off road. really, you can't go wrong with either of them.

When I get em mounted, I'll be sure to let you know.... still in transition getting them on, couple things need to be installed on my rig first (which is being worked on as we speak).

But, to give a vague response.....yes, they will. its a wide tire to begin with and the added inch will cause the tire to have different road manors.

WOL runs those tires, just watch any of his videos. Mel from Off Road Evolution runs Nitto's(but not the trail grapplers), watch any of his videos as well. Video is better than pictures, right?

and just an FYI - Toyo doesnt make the Open Country MT in a 37x12.50....only a 13.50 from what i've seen.
