Default quick dana 60 question

is there a certain size lift you must have with a dana 60 axle. i have a 2.5" and was wondering if that was ok or if i should go up to 4". any ideas?

also what gear ratio works best with 35" tires on the dana 60?

I think it would depend more on the size tires your running... 37+

If you don't plan to go for a larger tire a dana 60 would be overkill.

Might as well get the 5.38 and at least 37s to go with those 60s. So you might as well go ahead and get the taller lift and go with the 40s and then those big pumpkins will have more ground clearence. You are going to have a very nice rig.

From what I've read a pro-rock 60 has more clearance than factory 44s

With 35's or 37's, a PR44 is all you'll need. Skip the 60 and spend the saved money elsewhere. (look at the pr44 unlimited. Thicker tubes and built in caster correction for your lift.)
