Quick Disco Woes -need help-
I pulled into the local sporting goods store today at an angle coming off of a somewhat busy street and as soon as I got halfway through my turn i heard a loud clank followed by a few successive scrapes from under my drivers side coil over...so I get out, look under my fender, and see that my retaining pin has managed to fall out of the lower sway bar disco link bolt, and the bolt is now gone...the disco is just hanging off the upper connect all scraggily and pissed off while the sway bar connect is jammed INTO my coil.
(See Pictures Below -sorry for all the mud and lack of quality-)

(^Sway bar connect on coil action^)
I have a full Tuff Country 4" lift which is proving to be less tough than the name would imply, at least with the connects. I'm calling them tomorrow for a replacement bolt and cotter pin.
Does anyone rec. swapping in the Teraflex disco's instead of the current tuff country ones? I looked at the hardware components for both and the Teraflex's seem to have a better overall quality, although the retaining pin is equally depressing.
Does anyone have a suggestion or an alternative to the standard looped, bent 1/16" aluminum retaining pin?

While I would never say anything bad about Teraflex products I would recommend the JKS quicker disconnects. They have a quick release pin at the top and the bottom and cannot figure how they might accidentally come out. You can get the 3-6" lift set and adjust it for your lift.

Yep you just screw them up and down as needed. The only advice is make sure you are not at the end of the thread otherwise they might separate.

What angle is your sway bar at? Mine are @ 0 degrees but I'm still having a rubbing issue on the drivers side. It's definitely improved but it's still ~5cm away from the coil and can scrape under flex.
