Default Quick Disconnect Question

New to the forum. Just bought a 2011 unlimited and am in the process of buying items for a lift. I saw that there was a pair of Rough Country Disconnects for sale on their website for $60.00. I believe that it said for 07-09 only. Is there a reason for this? Have there been changes to the framework under the jk that would limit the use of these particulat disconnects on a 2011 model? Any help would be appriciated. Also thanks to everyone who has posted. Lots of good info on the site for people just gettin into jeepin. Thx

First off welcome to the forum. That is a little odd. I have the RC quick disconnects, and I have no complaints. I have no idea why they say its only for 07-09. Either way, that is something necessary if you plan on using your JK the way it should be used.

That's exactly what I was going to say.

I have one on my 07 and it does the job for a great price. I don't think you should have any problem, you can mount the upper holding brackets wherever you like, so you shouldn't have any issues.
