Default Quick help ??

Teraflex BB on 2007 Sahara and my wheel spin sensor has failed.

Dealer says not under warranty because the BB has stretched the sensors wiring harness?

Anyone have Sensor harness issues with BB or other lifts / BBs?

Teraflex chime in?

Sounds like alot of BS. There are plenty of people running lifts and I have never heard of that.

Do you suppose they have a forum something like this where they sit around and make this kind of crap up?

Have to go back there now and decide if they should keep looking on my dime or I will take it home and come back leter to try again.

They havent found the offending wire yet so it may not even be in that part of the harness but I am going to have to pay for them to find it.

I did not do anything to the wiring when installing the BB

07 w/ a Tera BB, no problems at all. If they don't know where on the harness the problem is how can they be sure it's a direct result of the BB. You should try another dealer if you have 1 near by. Mine had plenty of slack for the lift install.

When I installed my RC spring 2.5" lift, the sensor wire stretched pretty tight when I first started to install the drivers side spring. I caught it, unhooked it from the bracket (just pops in with a rubber grommet) and it had lots of slack. Not sure on your boost, but if you had to push the axle down too far and did not pull it from the bracket, you might have stressed the wire.

That said, it doesn't sound like a common problem and one that would show up more on big lifts and long flexes and apparently doesn't. So I think they are full of it.
