The top outer hinge bolt, how much longer is it supposed to be compared to the other bolts? The only "longer" bolt that style isn't threaded all the way. It's a smooth for 1 3/8" and threaded for 1". Directions say it's supposed to be longer, but I ran out of thread on the bolt ie: it won't screw in all the way. Just trying to figure out if it's really supposed to be longer and if this bolt is to be used elsewhere? Directions don't show it being used anywhere else and I can pick up the proper bolt in the morning. Just didn't feel like stopping yet.

 

Well. In case anyone is getting this carrier in the near future. Get a 8mm 55?? Whatever the 55 means, it's one step shorter than the supplied 8mm 60 bolt. The 60 was too long for me and the 55 fit perfect. Rural King carries them in grade 8.
