Quick opinion needed. Do you think this overhang will be ok?
I had 13.5 rotors, these new ones are 13.3. There is a tiny over hang with the brake pad. Do you think I can get by with this or no.
My opinion is: Don't accept any overhang.
Overhang = that much less braking power.
Looks like it also moves more of the clamping force over the unsupported portion of the disc.
I vote for "no". As the pads start to wear they can be rubbing on the top of the rotor, creating excess heat. Also, after they wear, they might start to bind on the rotor making the situation worse. You are also losing some percentage of braking power.
Well I installed them. They brake fine. No noise. As for the clamping force being moved. It is 1/16 of an inch different than the other rotors. Seems fine butttttt I will keep an eye on them.

I saw a few posts on various forums on this exact issue. What some are doing is watching for wear and when there gets to be a noticeable lip they "chip it off". Heck, with any luck your rotors aren't perfectly round so there is only going to be one small high spot!
Must keep that eye out! (Said my brother with an artificial eye. Gotta have a sense of humor).
I think you got better advice to your question on the other forum website. Were you trying to save money on rotors or just make a mistake on what you ordered? Either way, why would you take a chance on the one mechanical component that can save your life?
Well it looks like I will be testing it out for everyone. I drove it quite a bit yesterday and honestly can not feel any difference at all. I will keep an eye on it for a coupe days. Next change I will go back to the larger. It just sucks having to pay 350 bucks for two dang rotors. That's what started this thread. I wanted to see if there was any other rotors out there that were 13.5 inches or was I stuck buying Dynatrac's overpriced ones. And, on another note it was Extreme Terrain's tech that told me these Tereflex rotors would probably be fine lol.
Every rotor I've seen has a band of unworn area around the outside, so looks normal to me....

You're missing the point. It's his pads that extend out beyond the rotor, not the rotor that extends out beyond the pads. This can't be a good situation. You want the pads to exert uniform pressure on the rotor and I don't see how that's possible if they are not in full contact with the rotor. Might feel fine now, but could develop into a problem once the pads start to wear unevenly,
