Default Quick question

I run 285/70r17 tires and when I'm in reverse and turn the wheel all the way to the right the from driver side tire rubs against the bumper, but when I'm in reverse turning the wheel the other way, there is no rub on the passenger side. Why is this?

If was thinking maybe your axle was a little off center from a lift or leveling kit. I'm interested to see what the answer is to this. I'm all stock now thinking about either 285/70/17 or 255/80/17
