Default Quick question

I'm currently running a 3" lift on 35" tires, and I'm considering adding a 2" coil spacer to it. Would I need to replace control arms and track bars (kept stock ones for lift) or would it be fine?

There are some FAQ's right at the top of this modified area. The suspension section will have some info - " What are all the components that I will need with a XX inch lift ?"

Plan on:
One set of adjustable arms for each end. ( --> Both sets would be better.)
Adjustable trackbars front and rear.
Extended brake lines front and rear.
Both driveshafts. (may not be right away, but if you plan on losing both, you're ahead of the game.)
Some form of steering correction. (Flip, drop pitman & bracket)
Longer swaybar links front and rear.
Taller bumpstops front and rear.
Whatever I forgot...

If you really want Togo cheap then go spacers. Personaly don't. Get full running springs and shocks. More travel.

You will likely be replacing almost everything in the suspension and steering to properly run a 5" lift.

I have seen that done over and over with very poor results.

Adding 2" more to a lift with 35" tires will do nothing for you and off road it will perform worse.

Agree. The 3" is plenty of lift for 35's. If you need more clearance, cut the fenders.

I'm running 6 inches of life and 35 tires. The only steering thing I had to replace was a bad drag link and I ordered the $10 flip adapter also. It's smoth on the roads and works great.

agree too, no problems at 5 1/2 " but I've got a body lift on top a 4"

So is a body lift recommended over coil spacers? I don't want to get flat flares unless I have to

You could just cut your stock ones. So easy to do and it's a free mod. And no I would not recommend a body lift over spacers.

A body lift will add space for tire clearance without affecting the suspension/steering. Adding suspension height will have you throwing more and more money into it to bring you back to a stock-like ride and fix issues you just made for yourself.

You're both running stock control arms, stock trackbars, stock pitmans, stock swaybar links, stock brakelines without brackets? No cam bolts, no steering correction, no adjustable anything, right? Why do I think that is incorrect ...
