Default Quick Question on back spacing

Want to pull the trigger on wheels and tires for an 11 JK. I am looking to run 16x8 wheel with +10mm offset and/or 4.92 back spacing. The tire will be LT285/75R16 with dimensions of 32.8x11.2. I will be adding the TF leveling lift prior to installing the tires. Will this work? Do I need to be concerned with any rubbing issues? I have read so many threads but they all have different responses. Please help!

it'll be tight but, you should be able to make it work. you may see some minor rubbing at a full turn.

Is there a better suggestion? Should I go with a larger lift or just look for another rim with a different backspace (less than 4.92)

lift won't make a difference, back spacing will. 4.5" is a good size and what i normally recommend. 4.92" is close and i would think you should be okay.

I ran that tire on a stock steel rim, I think the stock is 6.5 backspacing and I used 1.5 spidertrax spacer giving it a total of 5 inch and it worked great no rubbing at all. just to be sure do a serch on the stock 16" steel and make sure I'm right about the 6.5 and you can work with that

Thanks for all the help. I had these all set up in the cart ready for purchase and got cold feet. I don't want to spend that kind of money and have them not fit.

I run a +10 offset wheel and 35x12.5s. I have just a little rub at full flex with wheels turned to the stops. Not enough to feel, but the paint is rubbed off of the 90deg bend in the swaybar. When I ran my 285-70-17s, I had no rub at all.
