Default A quick way to improve premature ESP eja......

I know it's probably been said a few times before, but let me tell you... Once I installed front lower control arms and adjusted the camber angle to the Project-JK recommended setting the ESP over reaction has calmed very significantly. Before the install the ESP over reacted at 99% of the on/off ramps, now it does it about 10% of the time... I see that as a very big improvement and I really didn't expect to improve anything having to do with the ESP when I installed the arms. So the improvement came as a sweet surprise. I hope that this info can help some of you guys out.

My esp would go off on every one of those ramps, ended up putting in a toggle switch to kill it. After installing adj lowers, I never use the switch anymore on road. I have to really push it hard to try to make it go off. It's true about dialing in your suspension with the correct parts will lessen all the probs.

Yeah, it makes me wonder what our sensors are actually meant to sense?

Buying front lowers just to kill the ESP alone is worth it IMO.

I have full flex arms and both track bars. Once I dialed in the caster to 6*, centered the axles and got the steering centered I NEVER have any false ESP firing.

I see a bunch of people who say "ah just disable it and be done with it". I think there are two big reasons this is faulty thinking. ESP firing is really a symptom of a bad suspension setup. So you're basically saying yeah I know my suspension is setup badly but oh well. Secondly the problem with thinking you don't need ESP, is no one thinks they need it until it saves them.
