What are you guys running? MetalCloaks are 69 bucks.. What are your opinions?

 

I have the Teraflex discos but I've installed several sets of JKS on other rigs i like them a lot. Haven't seen the Metal cloaks in person or know anyone with them.

 

i run with the JKS quicker discos. Haven't had any issues with them. Super easy install. Easy to disco and reconnect (if on level ground)...i really like the fact that they are adjustable. the only thing that bothers me is the top mount/pin sticking out toward the tire. Have to make sure the sway bar is secured and level when disconnected. I always have it in my head that it will break lose and I'll end up destroying some rubber.

Iv got the cheap zone offraod discos right now. I have to hammer them on and pry them off each time. I dont hate it, just wish it was easier. Have a set of jks quickerz waiting. But also have a set of MKs coming with the new lift. Ill let you know what I think when I get them

I dont always drive where others cant. but when I do, its in my Jeep. Stay muddy my friends

 

I have the metalcloaks and they are ok, nothing special. They are very long and force your swaybar into a higher position than stock even at their shortest setting and I have a 4inch lift. They come with a tab you can bolt onto your rig to keep them on while disconnected but it's useless because the links are so long that there is nowhere to mount them too near where they would need to be. Instead I just use zip ties . So again not bad for the price, they do the job, but nothing great about them and they aren't even anywhere close to as beefy as the JKS discos.
