Im looking to replace the factory set up cat-back with stainless for durability but dont want the loud drone noise. Thanks! Have you heard of our VT cat-back systems for the JK yet? Dynomax® Performance Exhaust | 2011-2007 JEEP JK Wrangler Unlimited w/3.8L 4 DR: Single - 2.5" Cat-Back system, 3" Polished Stainless Steel Tip, DynoMax VT® This system has a nice "rumble" when you get on it, but when cruising no drone. Stainless steel construction. Made in the USA! Limited lifetime warranty. (save that receipt) You also have a 90 day sound/performance guarantee as well. Easy install, much smaller and compact than stock, but not as restrictive as stock. Let me know if you have any questions. |
I am running the Dynomax VT stainless cat-back set up.
I was worried about how loud it would be. I can testify it is only loud at full throttle, and even then my CAI is slightly louder. It IS louder than the factory muffler, but I like how it sounds, especially at idle. I run with the top down a lot and the sound is noticable but not too much. Conversations with passengers are not affected. |

Interested as well! Dynomax what does that run on 2007 2-door. Want the rumble but no drone. Flowmaster has too much drone for me.
