Default qustions on new ehaust

I just installed a new mbrp exhaust. I started it up and checked for exhaust leaks. I had water dripping out of the the first and second fitting. All of the clamps are tight. Does this matter, will it go away? Exhaust sounds great, couldnt be happier.

I installed the Banks exhaust system and it does the same thing. Some opt to weld the sections together, i don't mind the condensation coming out. It wont hurt anything.

Same here on my mbrp. Had it installed last Tuesday, noticed the water, swung by the shop, the shop let me know it was normal then welded the sections. No more water.

Same here with my MBRP. I have condensation dripping out of the joints. Black soot is not much so I am not worried about it being a big leak. I will put some exhaust putty on it when it gets warmer.

The systems to tend to seal up after a few thousand miles, once a little carbon or oxidization builds up inside the slip joints. The water is completely normal and will not hurt anything. Some guys will use a little high heat silicone when they're installing the system too and seems to help.

Same from my side, right after the install I had some condensation built up that pushed through. Haven't seen much water lately. Also, as the MBRP tech mentioned, mine broke in at about 350 miles and now has an awesome tone throughout the RPM range. It sounds sweet, although I tend to 'get up on it' a little more now that I hear that rumble.

I have about 6,000 on my MBRP and it still leaks a little. Maybe overtightened the bolts or something kinking the pipe?
