I just saw a winch plate made by rough country that you use with your factory bumper. You don't have to cut or drill (if you have tow hooks) It sells for $180.
Has anyone used this or seen one. The only bad thing I see is you lose your tow hooks but they sell d ring mounts for it.

 

It looks very similar to the Warn mount. But your are right, do don't get the hooks.

I have not seen one mounted yet. I like the price, but hate to lose the hooks.
