I have a lift on the Jeep, and added a front bumper and winch. I measured the height from the ground to the front and rear fender before the lift, and the front sat a little lower. After the lift they sat at the same distance from the ground.
After bumper and winch, they still measured even, so this didn't change anything. I never have really stood back and looked at the Jeep to study the appearance and it seams to be sitting nose low. I measured the roof line front and back, and also from the ground to the frame rail front and back. This measurement has the front about 1" low even though the fenders are equally high off the ground.
I have to assume the front fenders are suppose to sit a little higher than the rear's? Is this true?

If I understand your measurements, mine is the same as yours. Measuring from the pinch seam or rock sliders to ground, the rear is ~1" higher unloaded, and the top of the both front & rear fenders are about equal distance from the ground.

When there's passengers in the rear seat or a load of camping equipment, it sits about level as measured at the pinch seam or rock sliders. Same with my pick-up truck, high in the back when unloaded.

I guess I didn't consider loading it down to see how it sits. This would be the exception most of the time.
I'm wondering if adding a 1" coil spacer would be an issue, and if/when I ever load it(a couple times a year maybe), would it be an issue then? Just want the look "right" most of the time.

I experimented with adding weight to the front to guestimate front sag... ended up adding 1/2" spacer to rear and 1" spacer in front and ended up dead-on using bubble level at bottom of door window. Also minimized weight gain on front by going with aluminum front bumper and lightweight winch with synthetic rope. Likely varies based on spring the kit comes with... with 2.5" spring kit I purchased, added ~50lbs to the OEM bumper ='d ~1/2" sag and ~100lbs resulted in .75-1.0" of sag (experiment was pretty primitive, e.g.; 2 x 50lb hand weights). sag was measured at bumper... imagine fender gap sag was less than what I saw at bumper

What kind f lift are you running now? Budget or coil?

I had a 2.5 TF coil lift on my last JK and ended up putting a 1" spacer in the front after adding a winch and a heavy ass Smitty built bumper. Worked perfect!

You gotta jack up the frame in the front (not axle) and stand back and take a look to see what you like.

I've got a 3" coil lift. I don't know the spring rate, but they are stiff. I did do the jack thing and liked 1/2" of lift in front.
I also just received a set of Smittybilt side armor rails, so will see if this affects anything before I do anything.
Teraflex has a 1/2" spacer so will plan to add this if needed.
BTW - I received my set of RC quick discos today too, so am excited to see what kind of difference this makes in the ride and off road performance.
