Default ramsey rep 6000

i have a chance to pick up a rep 6000 for 200.00 dollars. just wondering is it going to have enough pull or should i just wait and save money for a super winch. any advice would be helpful. it does come with the cable not sure about sileniod.

That's really not enough winch for the JK. The REP line of winches are light duty anyway, (Permanent Magnet vs heavier duty Series Wound). I would want at the very least an 8000 LB capacity and would lean toward a 9-9.5K. I had a Ramsey Pro9000 on my YJ and, while it is a good winch, I consider it barely adaquate for my needs. I vote: Save your money and spend it once on quality
