I was recently given an 8000lbs Ramsey winch. This thing is about 8 years old and weighs around 100lbs. I think that it is an RE8000, but on the name plate it reads "Model: 8000/12". It is roughly 22" long x 10.5" x 10.25". It is in very good shape and I would like to explore mounting options. Can anyone give me some advice? I am thinking that it will require a top mount on a bumper. A specialty fabrication job for a winch plate is no problem. Thoughts and suggestions???
