Default Rancho 7000 vs 9000?

Am getting one of the two but what is the difference besides the adjustment on the 9000? I don't do much off-roading besides silver lake. So my ? Is do the 7000 run just as nice. Or r the 9000 way better don't see my self adjusting them just one setting.

Both premium shocks. The adjustability of the 9000 is nice for varying road/trail conditions.

I have heard from folks that have had both and they say the 7000 is stiffer, better offroad feeling. I have 9000's and love them. I enjoy different settings for trails vs. Daily driving.

I don't have anything to compare to. I have the 9000 and like the fact that I can stiffen them up for the trail and soften them for the road. If there is not a huge price difference, you may want to consider the 9000 just in case you hit a trail with a buddy and need a stiffer ride.

The RS7000 is a monotube so is a high pressure charged shock, always a firm responsive feeling to them. This is what I run on my JKU.
The RS9000 is an adjustable low pressure charged shock, so a "softer" ride in general. I went from a 9000 to a 7000, it took a bit to get used to the change to a monotube type shock.
If you spend a lot of time on the road, look to the 9000 IMO. That being said I drove 6+ hours with the RS7000's and have no complaints.
Last day of Shocktober too!!
